We've relocated from Northern Cal to San Diego County
My Parrot Sitter clients are asked to provide their most recent veterinary check-up records and/or a letter from their avian vet stating that their bird is fit for boarding.*
Since our feathered friends have evolved to hide their illnesses, it is especially important to establish a relationship with a good avian veterinary professional. Our beloved companions may not let you know that they are ill until it is almost too late to get help. As an established patient with your avian vet, you will be more likely to be seen quickly if the unexpected happens.
Depending upon your bird's species, history, potential exposures, etc., your avian vet may want to run some tests (CBC, chem panel, infectious diseases, etc.) Please email us your most recent veterinary checkup progress notes and test results and/or a letter from your vet stating that they are fit for boarding. Questions? Give us a call.
Please use the links below to learn more about why this is so important for your bird to be examined by an avian vet and where to find one that you will love!
